Determination of the radioactive concentration of 137Cs in water
Description
The recently accepted standard method to determine the radioactive concentration of 137Cs in water is based on the selective retention of cesium ions on ammonium-phosphorous-molybdate followed by the dissolution of the sorbent and the selective precipitation of cesium-hexa-chloro-platinate. The radioactive concentration is determined by the measurement of β disintegration rate of the preparate. (V.N.)
