Present status of RF source operation at J-PARC linac

Description

The J-PARC LINAC RF source executed operation corresponding to the beam commission for RCS, MLF, and MR from the phase of Run no.9(Sep.2007) to Run no.17(Jun.2008). The RF source has been operating well in the condition of 25Hz repetition, 650μs RF width and 1.4MW maximum power. The total operation time has been reached to 3000 hours. Maintenance work was chiefly executed the high-voltage power supply relation, and aimed at the decrease at the downtime. In this paper, we will report the status of RF source operation and the maintenance activity. (author)
