Confirmation and consequences of a reduced pion-nucleon coupling constant

Description
We address some misconceptions concerning the low values of πNN coupling constant recently extracted from pp and πN scattering data. We discuss the effect of this lower coupling on other systems. Suggestions are made for future investigations
