Cancer forecast on the analysis of modified ribonucleosides in human bioliquid

  • 1. Faculty of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Vilnius University (Lithuania)
  • 2. Lithuanian Oncological Centre, Vilnius (Lithuania)

Description

The quantitative determination of urinary ribonucleosides, m1A, m1I, m1G, m2G, m22G, ac4C of melanoma patients and 'Chernobyl' group was performed by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found out that elevated excretion values of m1I and m22G (normalized to creatinine) correlate with clinical status of the melanoma patients. Higher values of m1I and m22G were detected in 5 of our 12 examined cases from 'Chernobyl' group. (author). 8 refs., 2 tabs., 1 fig
