Impurity band form of luminescence in CdS

  • 1. State University of Moldova, 277014 Chisinau, (Moldova, Republic of)

Description

A theoretical and experimental research on luminescence was made in CdS in a spectral range 510-540 nm. In the conduction zone the radiation band form is calculated at low high electron concentrations. In the case of degenerated electron plasma photon and plasmon a mixing takes place, which is reflected in a non-equidistant series. A satisfactory agreement between theory and experiment is obtained.
