Description
The existence of a quasi fluid state of very small metal particles at high temperatures was the quintessential result of high-resolution electron-microscopic video recordings of Ru microcrystals, which form from [Ru55(PtBu3)12Cl20] upon bombardment with electrons. The HREM video recording of a 3-nm Ru crystal shows that both cubic and hexagonal close-packed structures exist simultaneously in the same crystal. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
