Effect of thermofixation conditions on characteristics of the 42NKhTYu alloy
Description
Relations between temperature coefficients of oscillation frequency, thermal expansion and internal friction in the 42NKhTYu elinvar alloy are determined. It is shown that the main contribution to a value of the temperature coefficient of oscillation frequency results from the thermal expansion coefficient. Stepwise thermofixation as compared to a conventional one permits to decrease the thermal expansion and to increase the quality factor of the alloy
