Uranus: implications for planetary evolution

Description

Enormous progress has been made in understanding the cosmogony of the Solar System during the last decade due to an ability to sample, and detect by remote sensing, many of the planets of the Solar System. The recent encounter with Uranus and its extensive ring and satellite systems by Voyager 2 space probe has extended our knowledge of this region of the Solar System
