Effects of radiation on physical and chemical properties and antibiotic valence of gentamicin

Description

The effects of radiation on physical and chemical characters and antibiotic valence of gentamicin is studied. Using the methods specified by Chinese Drugs Law (2000), the physical and chemical Properties of gentamicin irradiated with 25 kGy and the antibiotic valence were measured by microbial determination. Results showed that there were no difference between the gentamicins irradiated with 25 kGy and un-irradiated in physical and chemical properties and antibiotic valence. (authors)
