Magnetic coil supporting device for a thermonuclear device

Description

Purpose: To prevent the displacement of the torus axis of a toroidal system coil even if an axially asymmetrical force such as seismic force is acted thereto. Constitution: There are provided a plurality of connectors arranged circumferentially and formed radially in the same cross section on the surface of a toroidal system coil wound substantially concentrically on an annular vacuum container for a thermonuclear device. The magnetic coil support connected to the connectors prevents the movement of coil conductors. (Aizawa, K.)
