The author gives a synthesis of the presentations made during the seminar organised by the SFEN on the development and the applications of probability methods in the nuclear, aerospace and aeronautics fields. The essential points of the debate which took place, during the second part of the day on the prospects for development of probability methods are presented

L'auteur fait la synthese des communications presentees au cours de la journee d'etude organisee par la SFEN sur le developpement et les applications des methodes probabilistes dans le domaine nucleaire, ainsi que dans l'aeronautique et l'aerospatiale. Il presente ensuite l'essentiel du debat qui s'est deroule, au cours de la deuxieme partie de la journee, sur les perspectives du developpement des etudes probabilistes
