The authors present applications of electron and positron channeling to (i) the study of as-implanted lattice sites and the annealing behaviour of Cd and In impurities in Si, (ii) the localization of impurities reimplanted by neutrino recoil in nuclear decay cascades in GaAs and (iii) the formation of highly symmetric In-vacancy defects in recovery stage III in ion implanted Ni. 17 refs.; 6 figs
