Nonlinear dynamics of packets of high electromagnetic field in a plasma with the linear and parabolic density barriers

Description
The dynamics of high electromagnetic field packets in an inhomogeneous plasma with the linear and parabolic density barriers and ionic-conjugated dynamic states of field is demonstrated. In the linear density barrier plasma the similar states correspond to reflection as for the parabolic barrier plasma the states correspond to reflection, passage and dragging regime of packets to the barrier top, wich separates them. In the dragging regime with involving heat losses the dependence of the field penetration depth into the dense supercritical plasma is studied. The possibility for absorbing the main part of energy in the vicinity of the barrier top is shown
