Description
Computer simulation was used to investigate the reflection of 10 MeV protons by (100) and (110) facets of tungsten crystal during the sliding beam incidence under plane channeling conditions. It is shown that angular spread of reflected beam, occurring due to multiple proton scattering on crystal nuclei, increases as the angle of electron beam inclination to THETA0 facet grows and on crystal heating, as well as in the case, when the plane of beam incidence approaches close-packed axis, lying on the crystal surface. Half width of angular distribution of reflected protons even at THETA0, close to the critical angle of plane THETAsub(c) channeling and at room crystal temperature equals ΔTHETAsub(1/2) approximately equal to 0.01 THETA0, which is two orders lower, than for reflection from equivalent amorphous target under the same conditions. Obtained results enable to conclude, that multiple beam reflection from crystal system under the conditions of plane channeling is possible, i. e. ion channel on crystal base can be realized
