Restart of a refurbished BR2
Description
Last April, the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre, CEN.SCK, at Mol restarted the BR2 research reactor after completing a 21 month refurbishment programme. The work, which should allow operation for at least another decade, involved replacing the reactor's beryllium matrix, as prescribed by the operating licence, and other upgrades. (author)
