Measurements have been made of the osmotic pressure difference ΔP which accompanies a small 3He mole fraction difference Δx at constant absolute temperature T and 4He chemical potential μ4 in liquid 3He/4He mixtures in the vicinity of the lambda curve and tricritical point near saturated vapor pressure. The purpose of these measurements was to determine (deltax/deltaΔ)sub(T,P) in that region, where Δ is the difference μ3-μ4 between chemical potentials. (Auth.)
