Nuclear collective dynamics based on single-particle modes of motion

Description

This paper reports on a systematic microscopic theory of nuclear collective dynamics, developed under INS-TSUKUBA joint research project since 1980, is outlined by placing emphasis on physical pictures underlying the self-consistent collective coordinate (SCC) method. The SCC method is one of the major parts in the authors' theory, and the utility of the SCC method is demonstrated by applying it to some interesting problems, i.e., an introduction of physical-boson representation and a description of the collective rotation in band-crossing region
