Description
We examine how CERN LEP experimental limits on Z→hf bar f and Z→hA decays constrain E6 multi-Higgs-boson models. We show that the limits on standard and supersymmetric Higgs bosons are easily applied to a multi-Higgs-boson model if it acts like an effective two-doublet model at the W-Z mass scale. In the large-MZ2 limit of the alternative left-right E6 model the lightest Higgs-scalar mass mh must be above 20 GeV (assuming mh>2mμ); also tanβ=v2/v1 less than 0.58 is excluded. In the minimal rank-5 E6 model there are no absolute limits on individual parameters, although substantial regions of mh, mA, and mH± versus tanβ are excluded. We indicate the improvements in the Higgs-boson mass bounds that may be achieved with increased statistics
