Spectroscopic properties of single crystals of solid solutions of ZrO2-Y2O3 system, activated with chromium and neodymium

Description
A study was made on spectroscopic properties of Nd3+ and Cr3+ ions in single crystals of solid solutions of ZrO2-Y2O3 system and on their dependence on concentration of activators (Nd3+, Cr3+) and stabilizer (Y2O3). Kinetics of decomposition of Nd3+ and Cr3+ excited states was studied. It was revealed that process of excitation energy transfer from Cr3+ to Nd3+ was not effective
