Thermodynamic analysis of the palladium-zirconium system

Description

An analysis of the thermodynamic properties and the phase diagram of the palladium-zirconium alloy system has been performed. The Gibbs energy functions for the various stable phases have been constructed and a phase diagram for the Pd-Zr system has been calculated. The calculated properties are compared with thermochemical measurements and the phase diagrams recommended in previous reviews of the Pd-Zr system. (orig.)
