Description
This paper aims to supplement a tabulated table of widely-applied gamma-ray shielding formulas for a disk and plane sources overlooked at the time when renewed their function tables. It has been carried out with accuracy in 0.01% using a simple computer-aided program of the Haselgrove method prepared for the present study adopting a quasirandom number. This method has been proved to be effective and to take an executive time less than a minute per numerical calculation, and it is below one thousands of the crude Monte Carlo method's. (author)
