Description
The necessity and urgency of HFETR spend fuel assembly dense storage has been discussed. The criticality computation has been done by three computer codes, and after-heat analysis has been done either. The results show: the stainless steel storage shelf has enough critical safety margin and after-heat margin, if the burnup credible system is adapted, the capability of the storage shelf may be further increased by 50%
