Some applications of solid state nuclear track detectors to fast reactor experiments, 2
- 1. Hokkaido Univ., Sapporo (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
In our previous paper we discussed the characteristics of solid state nuclear track detectors for fast neutron reactor physics experiments. In the present paper the energy group neutron flux distribution in the fast reactor ''YAYOI'' was determined from etched track densities. The material buckling, the inverse diffusion length and the reflector saving were evaluated by the one- or two-group diffusion theory. Fission track detectors are also suitable for the calibration of a low power in reactors. (author)
