Reaction of phenylurea and N-trimethylsilyl-N'-phenylurea with vanadocene and N-bromosuccinimide

Description
Interaction between vanadocene and phenylurea in toluene solution at 70 - 100 Deg C at reagents ratios 1 : 1, as well as N-trimethylsilyl-N'-phenylurea in solution of tetrahydrofuran, was studied using the method of elementary analysis, IR and ESR spectroscopy. It was ascertained that in both cases N-(η5-cyclopentadienyl)vanadium-N'-phenylurea is formed as the main product of the reaction with a high yield. The compound can exist in the form of a dimer or a monomer with strong coordination bonds vanadium-oxygen. Cp2VN=C=O (Cp - cyclopentadienyl) and aniline is formed in parallel

С использованием методов элементного анализа, ИК и ЭПР спектроскопии изучено взаимодействие ванадоцена с фенилмочевиной в растворе толуола при 70 - 100 град С и соотношении реагентов 1 : 1, а также с N-триметилсилил-N'фенилмочевиной в растворе тетрагидрофурана. Установлено, что в обоих случаях в качестве основного продукта реакции с высоким выходом образуется N-(η5-циклопентадиенил)ванадий-N'-фенилмочевина. Это соединение может существовать в виде димера или мономера с сильными координационными связями ванадий-кислород. Параллельно образуется Cp2VN=C=O (Cp - циклопентадиенил) и анилинAdditional details
