ALARA Review for the Excavation and Transport of Contaminated Soils and Material From the 100-HR-1 Remedial Action Project
Description
This as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) review will document the risk to workers and the environment while excavating the radiologically contaminated soils from the waste sites of the 100-HR-1 Operable Unit. The scope of this ALARA review evaluates the radiological control concerns and estimated radiation exposures associated with the excavation and transport of waste. This review also covers the excavation and removal of pipes.
