Although little-known to the general public, aggregators are key players in the electricity market. They support renewable energy producers and electricity storage managers in the development of their assets, and also offer their services to consumers (companies and public entities). For example, they support their customers in making the most of their shading capacity, or in shaping Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), essential mechanisms for meeting the challenges of energy transition and integrating renewable energies into the power system. This document reveals who the aggregators are in France. The first section on Aggregators' offers to consumers presents their role and activities in the electricity market. This is followed by two concrete examples of how offers to consumers work: Example 1 - A paper mill is looking to reduce its energy costs by calling on an aggregator to help it make the most of its load shedding capacity and manage the operational aspects of load shedding. Example 2 - A data center near Marseille has signed a solar PPA with an electricity producer. It is looking to an aggregator to facilitate the integration of this intermittent production into its electricity supply
