Lepton-hadron relation and the puzzle of prompt muon production in the forward direction

Description

No theoretical model has yet attempted to explain the most important characteristics of the prompt muon production in the forward direction in proton-nucleus collisions at high energies. Significant success is obtained in tackling the problem here on the basis of a lepton-hadron relation. (author)
