Description
The structure of NaScSi2O6 pyroxene formed at 6 GPa pressure, is isomorphous with that of NaScSi2O6 formed at atmospheric pressure. However, the cell parameters and the atomic coordinates are different. The NaScSi2O6 pyroxene obtained by the quenching method is sluggish in changing structure and the structure obtained is not always that of the equilibrium state at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
