Europium (3) complexes with copolymers of acrylamide and acrylic acid

Description

Copolymers of acrylamide and acrylic acid and their complexes with europium are synthesized. Interaction of copolymers with metal is accomplished through ligands carboxylic groups. It is established that fluorescence intensity and duration of excited state of europium (3) essentially depends on the copolymer composition. The stage character of binding europium ions with copolymers is revealed by increase in the Eu3+ content in the macromolecular complex
