Description
The potential and limitations of sonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography, ERCP and PTC are reviewed with respect to different underlying pathologies and their location. Depending on the pathologic condition, algorithms for diagnostic imaging should be worked out in close cooperation between surgeons, gastroenterologists, and radiologists. (orig.)
