Radiation-stimulated diffusion of oxygen in AIG:Nd3+ aluminum yttrium garnet monocrystal

Description
Diffusion of oxygen in aluminium yttrium garnet monocrystals is studied by method of F± centres radiothermoluminescence. It is shown, that diffusion coefficient in garnet lattice in ionizing γ-radiation field is by 6 orders higher, than purely thermal diffusion coefficient in this material
