Description
This paper presents the historical performance of domestic PWR plants with emphasis on activities directed toward Westinghouse designed NSSS. Through a disciplined engineering approach dedicated to addressing those factors, substantial gains in plant performance can be achieved. Westinghouse has established an engineering organization whose sole responsibility is to attain improved plant performance. Programs initiated to address improved plant performance are discussed in this paper
