Plasma displays
Description
The developments of a flat color TV plasma display panel are described in the cases of the application of a negative glow and a positive column in DC type. The computer simulation has been performed of internal electric field, ion, and electron density in AC type. It has also investigated the characteristics of secondary electron emission of dielectric electrode materials. As these results, MgO is the best dielectric electrode material at this stage and CaO + SrO is promising one in the future. (author)
