Application of urea solution to absorb nitrogen oxide during dissolution
Description
The sodium hydroxide solution has been used to absorb nitrogen oxide during dissolution process of triuranium octoxide for many years. But this method has some drawbacks, such as salt by-products, secondary pollution. Urea solution can absorb nitrogen oxide and produce water, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. In this paper, we establish the two-stage water absorption, one-stage urea absorption process. We use this method in production to reduce safety risks and production costs. (authors)
