Dependence of the critical parameters of superconducting molybdenum chalcogenides on the hexagonal cell volume
- 1. Institute for Physical Problems, Academy of Sciences, Moscow, USSR
Description
The correlation between critical temperature T/sub c/ and the volume of the hexagonal cell V/sub H/ of ternary molybdenum chalcogenides is studied experimentally. For compounds SnMo6S8, PbMo6S8, SnMo6Se8, and PbMo6Se8, the increase of the volume of the hexagonal cell causes an increase in T/sub c/. For Cu/sub 1.8/Mo6S8, CdMo6S8, and Cu/sub 1.8/Mo6Se8 an inverse relationship is observed: the increase of V/sub H/ causes a decrease of critical temperature
