Description
The nature of therapeutic pathomorphosis of osteogenic sarcoma in multimodality (chemoradiotherapy) of 12 patients using local UHF hyperthermia is studied. Depending on the nature of irradiation and terms of surgical intervention the patients have been divaded into two groups. The investigations have shown that the use of local UHF-hyperthermia permits to raise the efficiency of the chemoradiotherapy and simultaneously at a high injurious effect decrease the irradiation dose up to 36 Gy. This provides the possibility to avoid radiation injuries of normal tissues and create the conditions for conservative operations in the therapy complex
