T-matrix approximation for an analysis of quasi-elastic knock-out reactions of clusters by protons with intermediate energies

Description
A new method is proposed for analysis of quasi-elastic knock-out of cluste by protons of intermediate energies. The method is based upon the theory of nonlocal t matrix and is applied to the example of (p, pα) reactions. A correction to the matrix element due to a virtual excitation of core is considered Angular correlations are calculated for the 16O(p, pα)12C and 9Be(p, pα)5He reactions and the results are in a good agreement with the experimental data. The account of the virtual core eXcitation results in an improVement of the agreement between the calculation and the experiment
