Results Achieved with AMANDA
Description
The Antarctic Muon And Neutrino Detector Array (AMANDA) designed to detect high energy neutrinos was completed in 2000 and has been operating successfully since then. Extensive searches for neutrinos from steady and transient cosmic point sources, for neutralino dark matter, relativistic magnetic monopoles, and for a diffuse neutrino flux have been performed. In this paper, we will discuss the main results achieved with the AMANDA detector
