Spirocyclic anion Mejzengejmer's σ-complexes with cations of s-, p-, d- and f-elements

Description

A method of synthesizing 6,8,10-trinitro-1,4-dioxaspiro[4,5]deca-6,9-dienates (the Mejzengejmer spirocomplexes) with cations of diverse s-, p-, d-, f-elements was developed. Exchange reaction of aqueous solutions of spiroadduct sodium salt and inorganic salts in the presence of ammonia was put at the basis of the method. The spirocomplexes feature a distinctly pronounced crystal structure, characterized by a lower crystal system, moreover, crystallinity degree of the adducts depends on cation mature. Anionic spirocomplexes are present in solutions in the form of the ions and ionic associates of different structure, the ratios between them depending on the properties of solvent and complex cation nature. 5 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs
