Description
This paper discusses numerical calculations of classical skyrmion-skyrmion and antiskyrmion collisions in 3 + 1 dimensions. Numerical integration of Hamiltonian's equations of motion for the chiral fields is carried out using a staggered leap-frog method. The collisions are studied at various impact parameters and center-of-mass energies. They are generally inelastic, with internal excitations of the skyrmions and meson emission. Future prospects of the calculations are also discussed
