Double K-shell vacancy creation in the decay of 169Yb
Creators
- 1. Physics Department, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands
Description
By means of a curved-crystal spectrometer an upper limit has been established for the intensity of the Kα1 hypersatellite x-ray line emitted in the decay of 169Yb. From this limit the probability P/sub K K/(IC) of double K-shell vacancy creation per K internal conversion can be deduced: P/sub K K/(IC) approximately-less-than 11 x 10-5
