Mean-chord-length approximations in the interface-currents formulation of the collision-probabilities techniques
Description
The use of several mean-chord-length approximations to interface-currents matrix elements are investigated. On the basis of comparison with numerical integration, an approximate technique is proposed which greatly reduces the demands upon the storage and time capacities of the computer in performing interface-currents calculations in the multiple-mode angular current representation.
