The book explains the fundamental physical and chemical principles as well as the related measuring instrumentation and techniques and characteristic features of nuclear medicine. The medical aspects are discussed in depth, including the pathophysiology, examination and treatment protocols, indications, patterns of findings, diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning. Das Buch erklaert die physikalischen, chemischen, messtechnischen Grundlagen und Spezialitaeten. Pathophysiologische Zusammenhaenge, Untersuchungs- und Behandlungsprotokolle, Indikationen, Befundmuster, Ergebnisinterpretation sowie Therapieschemata werden dargelegt. Der praktische Teil gliedert sich in die folgenden Organe bzw.
