Corrosion resistance of advanced austenitic-ferrite (Duplex) stainless steels

Description
A review of recent publication data on corrosion resistance of austenitic-ferrite (Duplex) stainless steels of the third generation is presented. It is shown that these steels represent promising and efficient structural casting-deformed and welded materials for many branches of industry. They are characterized by high mechanical properties, technological effectiveness and high resistance to total and local corrosion. These steels are recommended for use in different corrosion media
