Calculation of high excited states of neutral helium by mesoatoms

Description

Binding energies and wave functions of highly excited states of neutral helium mesoatoms are calculated in adiabatic approximation with account of diagonal nonadiabatic correction in effective potential. Schroedinger radial equation, describing heavy particle motion is solved numerically, using the method of spline-approximation with successive application of modification of continuous analogue of Newton method. 12 refs
