Description
The development of a fully automated system suitable for routine preparation of 11C labeled receptor ligands using high specific activity [11C]methyl iodide has been our major target for the last two years. Although we have not yet accomplished this purpose, we introduce here our current semi-automated system and up-to-date results obtained for clinical PET studies. Our recent approach to the full automation of 11C receptor ligand synthesis by on-line 11 methylation is also described. (author) 2 figs., 2 tabs. , 2 refs
