Description
Reactor Regulating System (RRS) is an important control system for reactor. It tries to maintain reactor power in close proximity of the desired power level. It uses various reactivity devices to control reactor power. The 540 MWe TAPP-3 and 4 PHWR reactors are first of its kind. The devices and control strategies are also new. In this scenario it was necessary to develop a new RRS, which would meet the requirements effectively. In this paper we shall discuss all aspects of RRS. (author)
