  • 1. Kishinevskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)

Description

A reaction of aqueous-methanol solutions of thiocarbazide and salycilic aldehyde, taken in a molal ratio of 1:2 on the matrix of oxovanadium(VO) in the presence of aqueous ammonium results in a coordination compound of the VC15H12N4O3S composition. Similar compounds are obtained with salts of nickel(2) and copper(2). Complexes of oxovanadium(4) and copper(2) have effective magnetic moments normal for systems with a spin of 1/2. The compound with nickel is diamagnetic. These data agree with the configuration of the coordination compounds obtained
