Probing parton-medium interactions with STAR

Description
Parton-medium interactions are studied at RHIC with a variety of techniques. In this talk I consider non-perturbative aspects of parton energy loss and fragmentation, medium formation and dynamics and possible connections to diffraction in N-N collisions.
