Description
Fuel assemblies handling in a fast neutron reactor is made by a manipulator extending through a passage in the rotating plug and completely retractable into a removal hood fixed to the rotating plug. Closures between the end of the passage and the hood does not give discontinuities in the confinement

La manutention des assemblages formant le coeur d'un reacteur nucleaire a neutrons rapides est assuree par un appareil suspendu a un chariot se deplacant au-dessus d'un passage forme radialement dans un bouchon-couvercle-coeur implante dans un bouchon tournant unique surplombant le coeur. Lorsque le reacteur fonctionne, le passage est obture par un bouchon amovible auquel est suspendue une partie du bouchon-couvercle-coeur. Des hottes equipees de sas permettent d'evacuer le bouchon amovible et de mettre en place l'installation de manutention sans rupture du confinement de la cuve du reacteurAdditional details
